How Did you decide to become a full time blogger?

Having my first baby gave me the push to find something I could do from home and be there for him. At the time I had been blogging for years as a hobby but it was starting to turn into a job pretty naturally so I couldn't pass on a self employing opportunity that was kid friendly.

What's your daily inspiration for blog content?

Honestly, my inspiration is my everyday life. I like to keep it organic to what I actually experience in my day to day. Real life is too amazing not to pull content from.

Did you have to give up a regular daily job to become a full-time blogger or it happened naturally?

I was a full time therapist! So as you can imagine shifting to a SAHM/ blogger was a transition and identity switch for me. But I wouldn't have it any other way.

How do you juggle between mother's duties and staying on top of your things for your blog?

Some months I'm better at it compared to others. Being a mom is a full time job and a half so when you add blogging onto the heap it can be overwhelming at times. I try to stay on top of deadlines and not leave things to the last minute because when you are shooting with kids around it may not turn out the first time. You just gotta be flexible and roll with it.

How do you relax?

I'm a spa addict but I don't get there nearly enough. So a hot bath and some skin care products are my happy place.

What do you like about skin care products?

I love the ritual of a skin care routine. Taking time for yourself. Self care is so important and taking 10 minutes at the start and end of your day can be that mini break you need to recharge.

Do you have any beauty tips you can share with ou readers? Main rules you live by in beauty?

Never go to bed without washing your face! Skin care is a big one for me. Even if I'm exhausted I'll take a few minutes to pamper my skin. I love a "go with what you've got" mentality to beauty. Don't fight the things that are natural to you. If you've got beautiful curly hair, rock it! Skip the straightener. Or if you've been blessed with gorgeous freckles stop covering them with full coverage foundation. Just do you.

My final tip, never underestimate the power of a little tub of lipstick. You can looked polished in seconds and it's an easy way to transition your look from day to night.

What are your future plans?

We moved into a new house this year after having our second baby to gain a bit more space. So we've been styling it and moving room to room. I'm so excited to make it feel like a home.
